Well......maybe it is haha.
My brother decided that he is going to go overseas for his christmas holidays before starting uni. He doesn't have enough money to buy his tickets over to england/europe so my parents said that they would buy the tickets for him, as long as they were the cheapest available.
So for ages, I was grumbling about the fact that my parents were all to willing to spend some serious cash buying tickets for my brother to go overseas, when doing the same for me is completely out of the question. The thing that also got to me, was that he doesn't even have a job, so my parents are constantly spending money on him...... but anyway...

The other day, I was pottering around in the kitchen making some lunch when my mum comes up to me and says that she felt that it wouldn't be fair to buy tickets for my brother to go overseas when they expect me to save up to buy tickets myself if I want to go somewhere.
So, she said that, when I want to go, they will buy me the tickets to go to Japan!!!!!!
The tickets to Japan and back are a heck of a lot cheaper than what my brother is doing, but I don't care. My parents knew I have wanted to go to Japan for years, and finally, with their help, I will be able to go!!
I am going to save this offer until I finish university, so I can go over there and not feel like I am missing anything ;(^_^) Also, it means that I have a lot of time to save up the money for hotels and in-between travel around Japan, by train and by plane. Because I want to see ALL the sights.

eeeeeeeeeeepppp I am so excited. Now all I need to do is survive my course.

I finally got Project Diva for my psp!!!!!!
I am so happy. I have wanted this game for so long now and to finally have it is amazing.

It is soooo much fun.
It's like DDR but you press the symbol buttons along with the music of Hatsune Miku, who is a vocaloid program from Japan. Some of the songs are really hard to play haha. Because, most of her songs are fast paced dance-type songs so you end up button mashing to the max while playing. X3

OMG.
A new gothic clothing store has opened up in Brisbane!!!! It is called Voodoo Lulu and is absolutely HUGE. They even stock some awesome steampunk stuff that is absolutely drool-worthy but is pretty pricey.

Well. Only 3 hours and 45 minutes until my Bioscience exam. ;A;
I am sooooooo going to fail. Oh well. I just really want to get this exam out of the way so I can finally relax.

I had a really lovely weekend this week. :3
Toby came over and we went out to see a movie on sunday night.
It made me feel so much better to have some time with him and have lots of hugs! n.n
He ended up staying the night and I had forgotten how much I missed waking up beside him and we made pancakes for breakfast. Heeeeeeeeeeee

So, recently I have been thinking more and more about Gothic Lolita Fashion and how much I want to dress that way.
I decided that I am going to start saving up to buy a few basic pieces, but whenever I start to add up what i'll need............Holy cow it is expensive. You think, yeah, I'll just buy a nice skirt, and few blouses and maybe a dress. But what you don't realise is that to complete and Lolita outfit, you need a petticoat, maybe some bloomers, nice socks, suitable shoes, various accessories and THEN on top of that, the blouse, skirts and dresses. So in all, you end up spending around half a grand on just clothes. Which for me is hard to swallow especially seeing as I am trying to save up to buy a car.

I think that to have a really nice Lolita wardrobe you'd have to be prepared to either work your fingers to the bone to earn enough to buy the clothes, whore yourself (kidding) or just not spend money on ANYTHING that isn't lolita. *sigh* I don't think I will ever get there.

But in the meantime, here are some drool worthy dresses that I really want to get eventually.

Wheeeeeee. :3
I found the most awesome community for buying and selling lolita clothes. And Oh my! what a massaive amount of members they have and such big savings too!! I swoon at the thought of all the possible purchases. Now I just need to find a new job. I left Hell, due to issues involving hours and and like, and have found a new job at McDonalds. Not my dream job, but they can offer lots of hours, and I'm only doing it for the money. So whats the harm in suffering a little for gorgeous lolita clothes. XD

New Direction.

Thursday, September 25, 2008

I have decided that my blog will be turned into a music blog, with downloads and all that jazz. Of course the music and videos etc will all have a reoccuring theme, they will all be in some way related to Gothic Lolita, Victoriana, Goth, or Kawaii (all my favourite things). There will be links to various websites that take my fancy and cool youtube finds. So stay tuned. :3

WOO HOO!!!!

I got my marks back today for my english assignments. :)
I got an A5 on my oral, and a b10 on my exam on Hamlet. My teacher said that the exam marks were substantially higher than everyone else. *gloats*

To treat myself for receiving such good marks, I bought myself the bag shown above.

I just love Mamegoma stuff. That and tare Panda. I joined this website called swapbot.com where there are a lot of Kawaii swaps taking place, so hopefully I will take part in one and get some awesome Mamegoma stuff......or I could just buy it on eBay. X3
